Our story
Founded by NHS clinicians. Built for PCNs.
BCS was founded by clinicians who had led primary care medicines services inside the NHS for over two decades. We knew what was broken about how external pharmacy was being delivered — and what good looked like.
In 2026, we made a strategic shift from a pharmacist supply model to an outcomes-based medicines optimisation service. Every contract now runs on three integrated layers — Core Delivery, Outcome Programmes and Impact Reporting — backed by our in-house BCS Impact Dashboard and a dedicated Quality Assurance function.
