Zac Rehman

My name is Zac and I have had the pleasure of working with the BCS team for almost coming up to 3 years. I began my journey offering pharmacist support to the first BCS PCN service where I recognised the real-world challenges of interpreting and implementing the NHS long term plan. The uptake of BCS services by neighbouring PCN’s and my passion for service delivery gave me the opportunity to develop this process as PCN service lead. To establish a culture of learning, support, and development an induction programme alongside adhoc training sessions were introduced. Weekly huddles and monthly pharmacist led and peer supported sessions were commenced. The passion, dedication and enthusiasm of the pharmacists joining the BCS team, along with feedback and review for service development with quality and service in mind is testament to the successes seen today. I look forward to spearheading BCS in creating experts in medicines management and supporting them in integrating within primary care to meet the NHS long term goals
